Can you put Lush packing peanuts down the drain?

Can Lush packaging be recycled?
Cosmetics retailer Lush has launched its ‘Bring It Back’ initiative, which allows customers to return any full-sized Lush plastic packaging to their local Lush shop to be recycled or reused. For each plastic Lush item, shoppers will receive a 50p deposit to spend in the store that day.
Does Lush take back empty containers?
